Finally, if you are so inclined, icicles, beads or traditional tinsel garland can be put on the branches. These can add that final sparkling touch to your tree that can bring the variety of ornaments and lights on your tree together. What type of garland you choose will usually depend on personal preference, but you will probably also have to take into consideration the composition of your ornaments and whether little kids or pets are likely to grab hold of it.
